Permission, Permission!

Well, opposite of past Blogs, this one is much more positive!
Recently, I've been very happy to see a lot of 'permission' emails from people; Meaning instead of just going ahead and either taking an idea or style of mine, people are asking me permission first! I guess I should just make it clear here and now. From that last Blog, I mainly did that to teach people a lesson, more or less. Not just Joey, but everyone about who I am and how I act. Aside from that though, I learned a few things myself. Maybe I have been pretty anal with people 'taking ideas' and what not, when all people really want to do is either a starter video, or a tribute of some kind. Honestly, I don't care about copying so much anymore. If people want to use my base of ideas and/or designs for their own video, that's fine with me.
Only thing I ask is (and while some people still may disagree..) when it comes to RE, or any game really, and the Numa song, particularly if it uses my exact ideas. (i.e. Blood-writing on walls, people turning grey, etc.) For your own sake, you should at least drop my name, at least in the description. And when I say for your own sake, I mean that should a fan of mine or someone who's at least familiar with my work should see it, chances are they might say something like 'You're a copycat' or 'You're a thief' or anything along the lines of 'stealing' ideas and/or styles. And on that note, I can't be there to defend you. It's basically... Do at your own risk. While I'm very please with the amount of people who are considerate enough to ask my premission, this doesn't mean that people won't flame their work. And since so many people have asked (and some who haven't) I can't be there to defend you or your video should it happen. There's just too many people who it may happen to, and like I said, as of this moment it's Post at your own risk.
Maybe that sounds a little gloomy, but that's just how it has to be! I hope people understand, and if not, well.... Oh well. XD The reason this Blog and recent events are so positive, (to me) is the fact people are seeming to be civil again, and asking rather then taking. And it's bringing my hope back into an online society that I thought I completely lost faith in. As to having faith in people, the situation with me and Joey is more or less over. He apologized to me which I hope is for the last time, and we both learned something (I hope) from the situation, and hopefully others did as well. That whole thing wasn't about video copying... but about human decentcy in general. So glad that's done.
I hope this all makes sense. I'm just kinda bored, actually. XD
On another good note, I have a new website that's just about finished. okay that's a lie, it's actually a really old website that I haven't updated in ages, and now it's time for the grand re-opening! Call it the egotistical site, but it's not really meant for me, but the hard work people do FOR me, and I really do appreciate it!

Im not really surprised that so many people are asking permission before they make a video resembling yours. Like what you just said, once one of your fans sees a video that looks copied/stolen from one of your own,they'll be flaming in no time. Hell have no wrath like a Leggy fan. <br> <br>NailBail (YT)

Wow, Leggy I really glad that things are working out for you again! I'm glad that people are asking permission and I'm glad the hatchet has been buried between people. And you actually made a really good point, near the end (about human decentcy). This was my main goal of getting involved and I'm glad it was your too. Anyway now that everythings peachy again, all is right with the youtube world. I happy for you and am glad this bloody battle (which I did take overboard XD) is over! ^_^ <br> <br>STARS

It's good to hear that you, your fans and your work have taken a turn for the better, but it still pains me that originality is taking the backseat to cranking out vids for views. Why does mediocrity have to reign? Sure, Numa vids have been done, but when I read your description of a meme, I thought the "blank canvas" thing was perfect, and at least your video illicited an emotional response (humor...) Hopefully people will learn that videos that have the producer's heart and hard work poured into are worth more than a temporary viral star and decide to clone them. I love all your videos because they make me laugh and I enjoy your work, not because you are popular and have thousands of views. <img alt="dry" src="http://images.freewebs.com/Images/Smilies/Round/dry.gif">

I just want to put this scenario out there, from what I understand of this Blog. Some of you may or may not know we (DKOProductions) are planning a video, which contains a scene in which one of our character is a dumbass on the computer. and makes comment on random peoples videos, (I'm trying to be vague here for the sake of the secrecy of the video.) Such as, Shoes, Evolution of Dance, etc. In light humor Numa as well, however from what I understand, so long as we/ you give respective credit to Leggy we/you would be fine. correct me if I'm wrong but thats my basic interpretation of this blog.

Look at what has been done. <br> <br>I think it will be evident as to whether or not you are taking credit for yourself on either a plagiarized or unoriginal video, but it never hurts to drop credit where it's due, does it? Now if you were to say, "Wasn't the Numa awesome?!" and then insert your own characters into a poorly rendered carbon copy of what has been done already, then maybe someone would get angry. ;P

i personaly thought that resident evil degeneration was good the grafics were very well thought out for an animation movie for those of you that havent seen it you should if you can power to the resident evil fans
